This is really interesting, you guys! This IS the original posting. I haven't uploaded or changed it at all. Nico suggested I try the "red filter" effect on it, I did do that *at home* and posted it to Flickr, but liked this one better and left it as originally posted. Honest!! I wonder what would be causing y'all to be seeing "different" postings? Cheers, -mikey
When we get into critiquing, there may be several opinions as to how the image may be adjusted. I see you have now slightly darkened the foreground. I must say I liked the lighter version. (I guess that the photographer ultimately has to make the final choice.) shu
It's a lovely scenic! It seems the foreground is much lighter than when I originally viewed this. Did you replace the shot or just brighten the foreground? Nice color saturation, too. shu
Thanks, Nico. I agree that it is a candidate, but I think this is better as it is for the Challenge. I saw your comment to the Flickr post and I'm agreeing with that ":^). -mikey
Not only the shadows on the mountains, but also the shadowy undersides of the clouds make them look incredibly 3D. (Also a candidate for red filter treatment, as per your flickr post?) Regards jnconradie
