Thanks for the comments Michael and Nico. It was a good day at the fort. I was specifically hunting shadows and although I ended up with many nice shots, hardly any were with shadows! I guess I should time my next visit for earlier/later in the day - Naj
Fantastic array of colours, Najinsky! From reds to blues and from highlights to dark corners. As Michael mentioned: many different elements in one photograph. Definitely a great find for a Shadows Challenge! Regards jnconradie

Lots of interesting things at work here. High color, high contrast, silhouette, extreme perspective...interesting that they all seem to work together. -Michael
