I don't see a trip to New York anytime soon, but you never know.

Thanks Jim. If you're anywhere in the area of Mellenville, you should check it out. It has some amazing old unrestored architecture (& cars in similar condition).

Very nice, I love shooting old buildings and barns so this appeals to me.

Again, many thanks, Nico.
This was taken in Mellenville, NY, a "town that time forgot" about 120 miles north of NYC. I am a freak for *vernacular architecture* so this drew me right in. It's apparently a remodeled house trailer.
Flickr has geo-tagging so I was able to pinpoint it's position exactly on an electronic map. Haven't checked for hoards of photogs lately though. ;)
Inframan, this must count as one of the cutest and most photogenic post offices I have ever seen. The ones in my country look absolutely nothing like this! I do not know that literary reference, but have no doubt that such a picture could have graced the cover of something with that title. May I ask where you took this? (Sorry, cannot quite make out the lettering... but it looks like somewhere in New York?) Regards jnconradie
