Can you teach my laundry how to do that? Thanks in advance. :-)

So very clever and creative :)
I like it all!

If you happen to do a little more editing...the part of the pouring liquid, coming down near the bottom, it disappears a bit oddly because the rest of the stream looks nice and crisp. The rest looks perfect. There is some slight jpg artifacting perhaps of the compression but that's no fault of the qaulity of work. Perhaps you resaved it as jpg a couple of times.

Wow..I am learning so much with these comments. I appreciate them all and will re-work a little more.... The liquid is on it's own layer so retouching it is easy....and it an old shirt from a wedding we went to 20 years ago LOL
Thanks
Debbi

Very done and great execution of a novel idea! ~here do you buys these shirts? I needs a few of these :)
*NitPik* the clorox bottle label appears a little bit transparent.

You are so good at this sort of thing, Debbi. Too good, actually, and always coming up with clever ideas.

One additional thought. Presuming the pouring liquid is on its own layer, you might try making the layer slightly transparent and see if that nets you anything...might or might not, LOL! Go Debbi! -Michael

Debbi, the liquid/bleach is greatly improved. Now I'll get really picky :-) There is a dark area on the viewer's left side of the liquid just below the bleach bottle opening along the edge of the liquid. At the resolution I can see here, I dunno if it is shirt shadow or part of the liquid, but it is sufficiently darker than other shadows to seem unnatural to me.

Here is a slightly bold idea for you, if I may: Notice that about half way down the pouring liquid it becomes quite narrow...it's just about horizontal with the Rinse Option knob. There's a natural place in the liquid highlight where it almost comes to a point. What if you removed the liquid below that point? Since the shirt is not wet, you don't need liquid all the way down to the shirt. Also, I think having the liquid be shorter might even be more action oriented that what you have now.

I'm still deeply impressed with the lighting in this image and how wonderfully natural the sleeve and bleach bottle look. -Michael

Now that is what I like to see..... 'a shirt that washes itself' fantastic. I'll have a dozen of those thanks Debbi!

I think the bleach looks better, great post. ~ Regards Melbob

Looks good to me Debbi! Very funny idea and well done. You and Michael are inspiring me to stuff clothes with newspaper and create strange images! LOL! :-) CJ

I hope the water/bleach looks better now...???

I will re-work it.

Lonnit the shirt was stuffed with newspaper (remember Michael's jeans) and the bleach bottle held up with fishing line (photoshopped out). The shirt is actually buttoned to the handle of the bleach...that worked very well. The liquid is the hardest part...

LOL! I too just came up from the laundry room. :) I did not however, have such help as you! LOL! Consider the comments below reiterated. So, how did you get the shirt to cooperate? ~ Lonnit

That is WAY too much bleach! -- Victor

rotfl!!! This is smart and fun. I now understand your question about appliances, LOL. The lighting is really superb...all those lovely fabric folds in the shirt and the shape of the bleach bottle are nicely brought out. The shirt holding the bleach bottle really works well, very natural looking for me. Unfortunately, the liquid bleach doesn't feel natural. I think that's because you have a dark background behind the liquid and it would be much easier to composite the liquid if it had a white background which is similar to the shirt and washing machine. Does that make sense? I think it's well worth your time to re-work the liquid because this is really a great piece. -Michael

lol....the concept is soooooo good. (doing my third load of laundry as I write). I wish the clorox was a little more liquid like....but still, so very close to the master you are already.

Best Wishes, Traveller
