Thanks, Shu and Mary Anne! Shu, they are real cracks that I just extended through the hands. I took a shot of my plaster ceiling with its usual cracks and then layered the hands over the ceiling shot. Then I cloned the ceiling cracks over the hands, if you look closely you can see the repetition of some of the curves. Mary Anne, you are probably right about the shadows but I have run out of time to work with this before the end of the challenge! ~Sharon
You could never had pulled this off so convincingly if you didn't have the "proper' hands. This has always impressed me and you have drawn a nearly-convincing crack across the canvas, as well. On closer scrutiny, it looks like the hands are beneath two threads which really makes me smile. Ah, Sharon, we really have to meet sometime soon. LOL shu
