Chihuly

No, it isn't a real Chihuly but only in his style.
It is Murano glass but not Murano, Italy This glass vase was purchased in the Murano Glass factory just south of Caracas, Venezuela.

Having finally, enlightened myself via the web, I now feel a little less ignorant and a little more comfortable in venturing to comment. This is a beautiful piece, well photographed and pleasingly composed. I have to admit that blues are my favourite colours as well. I can appreciate the skill in hand blowing and forming this piece. In my early days I dabbled in this art a little but could not confess to actually producing something entirely expected. Thanks for stimulating my knowledge base Pops.
