All through school and university my choice of doodling (i wasn't the most diligent or attentive student!) was to draw little interlocking triangles over my notes.
A year or so ago i was in an art store and bought a few canvases and some pens and paint and decided to put those years of practice to work.
The result is what you see...
This would also have worked in the UFO Challenge! :-) Interesting patterns and texture and great use of the DOF settings to create interest and a sense of depth. Compliments and regards jnconradie
