Luminism

Luminism is offshoot of the Hudson River School and Thomas Cole.

"Characterized by effects of light in landscapes, through the use of aerial perspective, and the hiding of visible brushstrokes. Luminist landscapes emphasize tranquility" (Wikipedia)

Maybe this image has a touch of the Naturalist, Asher B. Durand??
