but, yes, reminding of the style
of some of a renowned artist’s work:

Sorolla was «new» to me too when I came to live in Spain (nearly thirty years ago). Many of his paintings have an incredible strength in depicting natural light; practically all are worth seeing. Of course, my photograph can’t seriously pretend to be anything like a «Sorolla»; but I am proud you like it anyway, Michael... — db.

Not familiar with Sorolla, but I followed your link and I see the resemblence. I like the contrasting colors of the ocean/sand and child. Jim H2
