Thanks Traveller... You saw it correctly! Most of the folklores have some mythical character in the story... gargoyle represents that ...(It would have been an unicorn, had I done it in nice subtle pastle shades of colors with Kinkade style light glow)

Dear Cat: I'm good with the wire tree and parchment....but not the gargoyle on the right. I was going to say that this was a blob of intentional ambiguity....and in that context I could live with it...but, as a gargoyle? No, not so much. Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks Traveller, Jim, Mikey, Nico and K2. I appreciate your feedback.
Jim, Its not particularly Aesop, but its certainly done on similar themes of "folk" story...
K2, Its a tree made of thin wire (the kind Nico likes) and there is a gargoyle sitting in the corner. The photo is inverted. I made the edges "edgy" because I wanted to get a look of torn parchment paper.

I can't figure out whether this is actually a tree or a root. I like the whiteness and details in it.. very nice. The "canvas" distracts a bit around the edges, too jagged with "strokes".Might as well have filled it all and lost the black border... IMO.

Sorry for typo- Aesop was my intention. Somthing about this reminds me of a fable from school.

I keep returning to this- why does it make me think of AEeop? Perhaps it is just me.

Very, Very cool! It is my intention to be fairly critical in comments in this Challenge...but there ain't nothing, no nits at all, in reference to this great start. Wow...and interesting text too. Best Wishes, Traveller
