I'd say the wood is close. Perhaps a weathered fencepost? Or a piece of dead tree (is that generic enough)? -- Victor

Beautiful and very soothing. Granite? It's a possiblity. OTOH Looks like drift wood to me especially because of the layouts and the curves of parallel cracks.
