The light was done in a dark room with a flashlight. The filled glass was on an acrylic shelf and the light was shown under the shelf. I just kept moving the light around until I got the look I wanted on the white foamcore background. I had just watched the Flaming Moe (Homer) episode on the Simpson's.

Very peculiar lighting.. how was that done..
This reminds me of Vikas' "Converging" in the Blue challenge.. it's the same composition, less rigidly set up. It looks like the same stylized face. Everything else is almost opposite though.
