Correct, oil (vegetable) and colored water drops. I used aqucolor paint but tee would be also fine. MCsaba

Fabulous Image. Obviously two liquids and I agree with Victor that the lighter colour one is a fairly clear oil, while the darker is coloured water, perhaps tea or vinegar. But what is the action introducing the 'water' so elegantly into the oil? Something realeasing droplets without too much aggitation. They seem evenly spaced out so something with small holes like a sieve or dripping off the prongs of a fork. Really facinating. -Najinsky

I love it, whatever it is. Great colours and reflections. My guess is vegetable oil in water and I believe it is not upside-down. Is this you Elipse?

Great shapes, depth, color and clarity. As well as composition, reflections and everything else :) Two different types of oil? Mineral and organic?

I don't think it's honey in oil. Honey would sink too fast. And, it's too viscous. It's probably something more water-like, like tea dripped into mineral oil or some other clear oil. In any case, it's absolutely fabulous. -- Victor

Three wonderful photos MC. Brilliant contrast in colors here. The translucency of the "eggs" is wonderful! -Cat

Yea, what Debbi said. But I've got to ask, "Is this image inverted?"
