It works the same way... ? On the 1D I save the raw file onto the compact flash card and the jpg file onto the sd card. That way I can just whip out the sd card and check it out... if good enough, then I save the raw data from the compact flash and fix up the imperfections etc.

Also I open in CS2 so it does not auto rotate.... Gets a little confusing? ... but I do love the 1D... (regardless of having to rob a bank to pay for it LOL) Thanks for your comments.. Regards Bob.

Didn't think of that - rotation is often an in-camera feature. But I just checked: My 20D need the parameter for auto-rotation set to OFF in order to use it. Strange. When set to ON while shooting, it seems that later rotation must be done in external software. How is your 1D in that respect?

Thanks K2, I think you are right... but with no PP allowed at all I think this would then be ineligible ...or then be in need of some PP? Regards Bob

I wonder if I wouldn't have rotated this one 90 degrees CCW.. It's like he's studying a whole new world ahead of him then.
