Jaws

Cunningham Park/Atlantis Aquarium

Pretty apparent this is a PP montage, that is
unless, of course, you come from the land of
landsharks.

Thanks, Mel!

Yes, she does look a tad nervous. I really don't think the worry is Nemo, though. LOL!
Oh, here we call 'em lawyers. ;)

For those interested, I responded to Traveller back in the thread. :)

Love this Lonnit. The lighting and the mystique of the composition really attract one's attention.

I would like to see this at full res... and that piercing little 'beadie' eye stare at the walker... (I bet he/she got a fright when the nightmare was realised???... but I s'pose... was concentrating on avoiding tripping over Nemo in front?))

I'm not scared in the slightest because we have lots of those land thingies down here... we get used to them.. 'ceptin we call them 'politicians' or in some cases 'Estate Agents'... but then.... I guess they are the same animal...they are always found in each other's pockets anyway?

Dearest Lonnit:

I need your help...as much as your help, I probably need your words also as in a fairly detailed explanation.

I like very much your Landshark image...I may have positioned it differertly, blah, blah, blah....but to me the image did not look like a Lonnit...it was technically very well done, nothing over the top...just very good, clean, crisp within traditional photograpy and yet it requires a double or triple take...for this reason I think it effective in the xtreme. For me, this is Photoshopping at its very best.

I want to be able to do what you did in this image.

Last night I tried to extract a recently shot carnaval ride lights...to put somewhere else as an overlay....Ha!

There is one thing about bad Photoshopping...you know immediately that it is very bad....and then just gets worse from there.

I presume that this is a simple merging of two images...yet you kept all the fine detail in the tree brances and even in the foreground grass.

Long ago in these Challenges you once said...."I'd pop that puppy out of there in an instant...." in reference to another image. I did not know at the time, (being strictly photojournalism), what the hell you meant...but I kept trying and....I think I figured it out a little and had great fun with it trying to be like Lonnit.

But I still must be doing something wrong...in finding my own way, I've gone down a wrong path.

So, back to the question....Just Exactly how did you make the Landshark image? What tools did you use...what steps did you take in what order to get the finished image?

I know that you may have made this image a while ago, but still....is the process you used still in your mind? Can you re-call it?

I hate to put this burden on you...but, what the heck...Lonnit knows, and I want to know what Lonnit knows.

Can you give me any help?

Best Wishes,

Traveller

Well done, Lonnit. As the saying goes, "It was just a walk in the park."

Ahh, yes, the lamp post looks like a tank support. However, the aquariums normally don't have trees! :) ~ Lonnit

Hee, hee, hee...I really like this also...I actually thought that this was an aquarium for a while. Best Wishes, Traveller
