LOL! Yes, it is indeed the most exuberant flower I've ever met. He even seems to be zapping the energy from those around him, they looking tired. I was thrilled with the energy here. Would you believe, as I was shooting it (me squatting, looking upwards to the sky, with a dozen other photogs hovering over their subjects, all taking the same old done angles) a woman came over to me to inform me that this was a very undesirable flower, due to its defective petals that curl in. My response? "OH! I LOVE that! It makes it unique! It's the whole reason I'm taking the picture!!" I've seen the camera club competition flower shots... bores me to tears. The only thing worse are the bird shots. UGH! Frame after frame of some poor zoo bird, with the same flat backgrounds, shot with a flash. Dull, DUll, DULL! ~ Lonnit
