Remix

So I went looking around the house, since I haven't been able to hunt for repeats elsewhere. And found this. I hope it is on topic!

I was thinking something like this. Please feel free to delete after viewing!http://www.pbase.com/image/73492725.jpg. ~ Lonnit

No, the crop was just in the right side. I don't quite grasp what you mean, can you show me an example crop? Would you like me sending the uncropped image?

Wait a minute.... did you crop off some of the left too? If not, then you have to go a bit further - to in between the white highlight and the black catches. ~ Lonnit

Cropped, how does it look now?

Why bother reshooting? Just crop! ~ Lonnit

Hmmm, thanks Lee and Lonnit, didn't think about that. I'll see if I can get similar light when I get home and reshoot.

Oh, that's funny, Lee; I was just about to say the same thing! I was thinking crop off the right half of the CDs at the area just a tad to the right of the highlights. :) The 50-50 image split is too calm for the vivid color, so it is conflicting. The color calls for a more dynamic, tense composition. I'd even like a boost in sat! :) ~ Lonnit

I might consider just including a small portion of the cd and more red wall. The wall really makes the shot.

Thanks Markjay, that color is my one of my living room walls. The CD stand lies right next to it. The image was shot with available light coming in from the patio door.

Beautiful background color and I like the CD refraction colors with the background a great deal. Markjay

Thanks for your comment, Bruce :o)

I think the smooth background gradient (red no less) really makes this. I also like the break in rep at the edge of the frame. -- Bruce

This seems perfectly on topic for me. Looks good.
