This is amazing linen tree without linen. Great contrast

Hi Charlie!
For my browser setup and display viewing size (1280x800), 600 pixels in height seems to be limit

Hah! What a great title too! I only wish the DOF was deeper. But still, very cool. -- Bruce

Thanks for the comments.

To Julie: You can see the light getting brighter, as your eye travels up the front post. At the apex, the post is washed out (result of the flash being just under the edge of the clothesline). In the limited time I had to spend on this shot this morning, it was easier to crop than to reduce the brightness. I'll give it another try before the challenge is over, and see what I can do with the brightness problem.

To Photokhan: How would I go about doing what you suggest? Perhaps instead of reducing the original from 1200 x 1800 (or so) to 800 x 1200 (or so), would I have to further reduce it to 500 x 750 (or so)? Or is there some other method involved?

Good choice of monochrome for this shot. I like the composition, but feel I would like to have seen the apex of the main triangle.

Sorry, I meant "Medium", of course..."Small" is way too...err...well, small...to even be considered.

This is a great mix of balanced and ruptured compositional lines.
It conveys both the feeling of order and chaos from a single "eye reading".
I would advise to resize the picture in order for it to appear in full size on the screen, even if "Original" is selected as the display size.
I had to step all the way down to "Small" and, by that time, the surprise element was diluted.
This is a shot the benefits tremendously from a first, instant full view.
