Then all you really needed was a closet with a window! LOL!

As for house-hunting, with the downtrend in pricing, now's not the time to buy. Although, here in Queens, prices are still up. For us to get into a house, locally, with one more room than we have, we're over the million dollar mark! Insane, huh? ~ Lonnit

Good luck on your house hunting.

Oh, a lamp.... I'm sorry. I blew this all out of proportion! LOL! Ok, so the thing is that there can only be one piece in the room at a time, and it must provide some amount of light. Hmmm... what comes when the tree is taken down - perhaps a lava lamp for spring? ;) I'm only busting your horns b/c I'm jealous that you have one too many rooms in your home. We've combined two apartments, yet still I don't have a room for a studio. That's one important thing I'm requiring when we start shopping for a house. ~ Lonnit

Thanks for the comments!

@Lonnit, I like to have the tree visible from the road. This is the only room where that is possible except the dining room and garage. Also the room is not empty most of the time. Behind me, there are a large pile of toys and it at one time had a lamp in the room. See link below:

I saw this, and, of course, knew it was yours immediately. How is it that you have an empty room... and why do you put the tree in that room, as opposed to a room that you actually use? ~ Lonnit
