I downloaded this to see what I could do about the noise.
When I opened it in Photoshop, I noticed it was in AdobeRGB color space. Looks right in Safari, but less colorful in most other browsers. Make sure your photos are in sRGB color mode before posting to the web.
So what did I do about the noise? I selected the upper part of the sky, from just above the bright detail over the sun, feathered the selection (25px) and used Filter>Noise>Median (25px) and then Filter>Noise>Add noise... (0,3% gaussian monochrome).

Wow - great shot! - and great use of blown highlights! I do see some ugly noise and what looks like pixelation in the dark parts of the sky. Did you shoot RAW and use Adobe Camer RAW to develop? (Looks like something I often got using ACR on my 20D-shots). If so, the noise may be less disturbing using a different RAW-converter...
