Thank you Nico. I treated myself to a new walk around lens and carry the Camera everywhere at the moment. This is actually the view from my customers office in Guernsey. Somebody mentioned problems with the UK flights due to weather so I looked through the glass doors to see what it was like here and saw this scene with gent walking into it. I grabbed the camera and went outside and clicked off a few. So a touch of luck and a touch of being prepared to find a shot was the key here. Had I had time to think I probably would have set a smaller aperture but I'm very pleased with the result as is. - Najinsky
Excellent and off-the-beaten-track. I would love to know you pulled this off: just sheer coincidence that somebody walked past (would be too good to be true, I guess), a friend who was happy to collaborate, perhaps even a self-portrait (provided you have a timer for more than just 10s or so!), or ...? Compliments. ~jnconradie
Thanks for the comments gents. I had other shots of him in different places but this is the better capture and it does seem better balanced with this position. - Najinsky
At first I thought it would be better if he was walking into the frame, but the movement is carried by the beams of light. Expansive. The touch of reflection off of the water and the structure in the distance balance this nicely. -- Bruce
