Thanks Nico and Julie, this is straight out of the camera absolutely nothing changed except to downsize for the web and I did add a little usm selectively to crisp up the tower lights.. Stopped down to f11 allows the iris blades/diffraction to create this star effect, I think.
I rode my bike to the Docks area and walked along, took a bunch of shots using my 'patented' soft bean bag rather than a tripod to steady the camera for 30 sec exposure. Regards Bob.
