This is amirror ball, quite small, less than tennis ball size. I have darkened the image to accentuate the reflected pattern. Julie

Now why can't I figure out what this is??? It looks like some sort of sparkle cap w visor and light reflecting off the little mirrors? You haven't named it yet, so I'm in the dark, too. Great shot! I love the design it makes. shu
