Wonderful interpretation of the theme. This captures things so well that it almost makes my eyes hurt to look at the bright highlights. The exposure and adjustments (if any) done later are just perfect. I love the range of tones and the patterns and shapes in this. Jim H.

Excellent work in terms of lighting an everyday object to create a very non-everyday image. Splendid. ~jnconradie

I like exploring this image. A simple composition made extraordinary by the lighting. The intersection lines of form and shadow work very well. -- LC

This is a great interpretation of the theme Ann! Great light that is well-suited to the subject. With that said, I have a bit of reservation towards the tight crop - I'd imagine the composition would be stronger with the _whole_ chair, surrounded by the darkness, perhaps even some of the bright light and deep shadows on the floor (an old hardwood floor would be great!). Of course, I don't know what was outside the frame and perhaps my vision wouldn't even be possible, under the circumstances you were in. Nonetheless, I like this photograph a lot - and it is such a great example of well blown highlights!

I like the strength of this image. It meets the subject very well.
