Thank you for the kind words, Traveller. You may not be feeling well, but I give you credit because you just keep going. Me? When I'm feeling sick I immediately lose any wanderlust and want to settle in with a hot water bottle, a cup of tea, a favorite CD, and a good book. I'm sure yours is the healthier response. Isn't it amazing, though, how photography can be so restorative to the body and soul? So keep those pictures coming.

Nice leading lines, composition, and color. Seems pretty detailed to me. :) --Melanie

Splendid photograph! The low-down perspective is amazing and the colours work together really well. Compliments and regards ~jnconradie

You know, Mary Anne, I'm pretty good with people, and you are also.
You had a kind word for me for my Path to the River and now, with me sick as a dog for what seems like months and years and decades...(like most men I whine a lot when I'm sick), and so I wander downstairs to the study and...there's another kind work from May Anne.

Hey, pretty cool...that Mary Anne's pretty good at this...an empathetic heart, that's what she's got.

So I had to be up before six this morning and travel a bit of a ways for something...but coming back...you pull off a couple of time, you shoot, you drive on on to places you never knew you existed, you check what you've shot already and realize that it was on Tunsten White Ballance...you're shooting Raw, every image is trashed....

Big deal, blow you nose and shoot something else. Set a correct white balance and move on.

Thanks for the kindness...back to bed, tomorrows another big day but instead of the high desert it's off to Norwalk and then Wednesday Santa Monica....Just me an a bottle of DayQuill....lol

Best Wishes,

Traveller

The low angle of the shot and the curve of the rails really draw you into the image. And I really like how your words demonstrate such enjoyment in your photography.
