A great idea. Nice bold color and composition. -Michael

Victor, I'm left handed, so is the painter (my husband) and it looks perfectly natural to me.
Trav, we call thsi "revolting red" and after last night's effot, it's almost gone!

That's funny, Traveller. Before I saw your post, I paused at this picture and thought to myself, "Hmmm -- must be a Lonnit." After a moment's pause, I rejected the notion because she wouldn't replace that red like this. I'd never have guessed it to be a Gayle Knowles picture, though.

I do have a question about the composition. Is the painter meant to be a southpaw? Or is this meant to be the view from someone next to the painter? If no to both, flipping the picture horizontally might make it look more natural to non-southpaws. OTOH, I do understand that you might like to have a diagonal going up from the bottom, left, since, supposedly, that is a natural way for our eyes to move. -- Victor

Such a pretty burnt red! But then, I had to get rid of my red kitchen also...after awhile it wears on you, (but not Lonnit...lol) Best Wishes, Traveller
