Houston Halloween 2

Houston, TX

Somehow Nico's witch has flown to Houston, just to give me some more purple. As you can see, she crashed into this tree, and her broken broom is on the ground. (I wonder whether we can recover the black box cockpit recorder to figure out what went wrong)

She says she'll fly back to Nico after Halloween. She wants to take advantage of all the free candy in Houston first. The broomstick, even after a repair, will probably not carry her after she's eaten all that (there's a reason Houston is usually at or nor the top of America's fattest city lists), so I'll put her on a boat to take the slow route home :)

Thanks CJ. The processing was the Gothic Glow action first with the witch and then the broomstick selected as the center of interest (the latter was applied on a layer), and then the Midnight Gold action. Both actions free downloads from atn central.

This made me smile and the processing adds to the rather surreal feeling to the image. CJ

It's a quote from my mother. I'll have to find out where she gets it. -- Victor

I should have done a search before I posted that last comment. Apparently "I resemble that remark" dates from way before Garfield (although he does use it). I've seen it attributed to the Three Stooges, Amos 'n Andy, and Groucho Marx. That last one has the ring of truth about it.

It's a reference to Garfield, the cartoon cat. It's a pun (or a palindrome--that's not a palindrome, the palindrome of Bolton would be Notlob, it don't work!).

Victor, did you mean resemble - or did you mean resent?
