Photokhan--I meant to add...yes, the title is a reference to Amelia Earheart (that and there's a 'me' in the name :)). --Melanie

Thank you all very much. Nico, I don't mind sharing at all--though I'm not sure I'm very good at explaining. I took several pictures yesterday evening of the wooden dragon toy (sitting in front of white paper on a chair, at various angles)--while holding a lamp up in my right hand and tripping the shutter with my left. (I don't have a remote, and I certainly don't have external flashes or any kind of lighting paraphernalia.) Then I scrambled around my house to come up with the articles of clothing for the get-up. I donned my costume, put a little stool up on my bed in front of a relatively blank wall--and took a series of pictures (just trying to get the timing and position right). I had to line up the camera, focus on something else sitting on the stool, trip the shutter (after making sure my goggles and whatnot were in place), run and jump on the bed--toss the focus object (teddy bear) sitting on the stool, and try to pose before the camera went off.

I chose one of the dragon pics as the background, masked out its unruly background, and rotated the dragon slightly for a better angle. I chose one of the pictures of me posing on the stool and overlaid it on the dragon (had to reduce myself a bit and make a mini-me). I masked out my background as well, then overlaid a sky picture I had on my archives. And there you go. The masking/selection process took a rather long time--but I was having fun with it. I might post the originals I used to make this later.

Sweet...works in many, MANY levels...The title is just perfect also. Is it a reference to Amelia Earhart?

"Out of his world!" is the phrase that comes to mind! Wow. I have to confess I struggle to figure out how you pulled this off. Would you mind sharing (after the Challenge, perhaps?) Full marks on the creativity front. Regards ~jnconradie
