Two Sides of the Same Face

Oxnard Shores, CA

This is a 2 second exposure with the flash set to multi (stroboscopic) at 1 Hz. With the 2 sec exposure the flash fired twice giving me one second to reposition.

I didn't make the connection to this one before commenting in exhibit: Your eyes may be MG, but the sum is Nicolas Cage. There: I got you pinned down as a lookalike after all - sorry ;)

Peeked at your galleries: Very convincing work, exposure, tone and composition is just right through and through. This (slightly oversize) SP is an interesting use of stroboscope flash, thanks for the explanation.

Thanks for yor comments. I shot this with the Canon 550EX. You can see another shot I did with the flash off camera and set to 3Hz for 1 second at

Good luck with your experiments.

Very nicely done. I have always wanted to try the multi flash setting on my Sigma EF-500 DG Super. Which flash did you use for this?
