Appreciate your comments Trav. but I felt like a real 'W...er' posting such an SP. It is the very first attempt I have made at a 'portrait' type portrait and I was the model! But it is for comparison.. posted in Exhibition.

Dear Bob: I will disagree a little...I really liked, for whatever internal reasons were bouncing around inside of me, the initial, color, very little PP, image of you in a Tux. Of course, this is your choice, but....I really liked the first one...lol. I wrote a little more on the subject here:

Of course, looking at this again, especially your face, I do see why you like this version.

Best Wishes, Traveller

You have such a sure touch with your trademark post-processing. Your use of black and white really works here, although I've enjoyed all your color photos, too. - CameraShy09

Thanks Nico, really appreciate your comments, I wasn't game to get in too close that is just too confronting. Regards ~ Bob

Nicely captured, Bob. The smile and the look in the eyes all work together to create a picture of elegance and "class" - with a good sense of humour added to the mix. Regards ~jnconradie

Thanks RK and Shu, you are too kind this is the first portrait I have ever done... and its of me! how embarrassing.. would never have done this if not for this challenge. I hid in the dark passage way where nobody could know?, used some material draped over the doors and a make-shift lighting setup. Then got to work with good ole PS! Had to use B & W so the redness in my face was hidden! ~ Regards Bob

Marvelous idea--marvelous PS work--and, of course, a marvelous-looking gentleman! Such a creative piece! shu

Thanks guys... I've been playing with this but I think I'll settle for this one... I like the simplicity, (and it makes me look younger than my 3 score and a couple!) its nearly 3:00 am here so better get to bed! ~ Regards Bob

Is this the third and final image! LOL! First I saw color, then b/w and now some interesting processing - all very nice Bob! CJ

Excellent portrait Bob and terrific PP. Really makes the SP stand out.

Cheers, Vikas.

Well done Melbob. Tux and all. The PP really seems to work here.
