Out of Body Experience * Traveller

Traveller always sensed a feeling of looking on whenever he took pictures of others with their cameras...a task he was asked to do incredible frequency, in effect, virtually everywhere he went.

(I didn't know the topic when I took off this weekend...so I have to work with what I came back with. Fortunately, I had this and one of me leaning on the border fence...both shot the same day, 10.7.06. I have some fantastic shots of flocks of pellicans in flight, but I couln't figure any way to merge myself into those images...at least not yet....lol

Best Wishes, Traveller

My favorite aspect of this photo is something I wonder if you intended. The size of your ghostly image is too small to match the position of the post you're leaning against, with the result that there is a paradoxical placement going on, like an optical illusion. And here is the interesting part. That paradox makes it possible for the woman on the very left of the frame to be admiring you, as if peeking through the fence that you're leaning against. The perspective doesn't work -- but it does because of the paradox. -- Victor

Belated compliments on your unique interpretation of the topic and your very "deep" comments on this subject. I am delighted to now know a bit better what "Traveller" looks like in real life... Regards ~jnconradie

Good post Traveller, I didn't really notice your other you until I read your comments, I have difficulty resisting the urge to run off with somebody's camera just to see their expression?... but I would not try that with this guy..hope he is being friendly?
Like your pelican/snake photo too... Regards ~ Bob

I like the way you have shown yourself to be an observer of what is going on around you and almost hidden from the view of others, like a ghost. CJ
