Another Failure * Traveller

This is my back door...three layers of varnish and between each layer, steel wooled, I love this door, it makes me happy every time I come home. I could not convey my love for this damned door in a photograph.

Hummmmmmm

Hey, bad stuff happens.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Dear Door: I admit that you were very patient with me, especially remaining perfectly still while I set up the tripod and kept exchanging lenses. There was a chill in the air and yet you didn't complain at all. I was impressed by your dedication to the project.

The failure to capture you beauty was entirely mine...but then, like most real love, it is entirely possible that you are not particularly beautiful at all...you are really only beautiful because I love you.

But I do love you and and I am happy every time I come home from a hard day and there you are, ever faithful, always bright and cheery, warm and inviting.

Best Wishes, (see you with a kiss tonight)

Traveller

Dear Traveller, I enjoyed posing for this picture... and like very much how you portrayed me as a warm, welcoming door. I am rather pleased with myself when I look at this. But can I ask you to please get me a better title... please? The "another failure" version makes me feel depressed. And a depressed door is something you do not want at your home, do you? Thanks for sharing me with your friends at PBase. As always, lovingly yours, Your Door.

:-) Regards ~jnconradie

Not a failure at all. I wonder whether the door could be bigger? Also, a little lightening down the right and at the bottom? I would love a door like that.

P.S. Change the name, very nice ad, definitely NOT a failture! Judi

This is as warm and inviting a door if I ever saw one! Does make one want to see whats inside. The bigger picture below shows the beauty of it, alas we have to downsize! Judi
