OH, well if you were going for low-budget-cheesy-sci-fi, then that's a different story. :) ~ Lonnit

Once again thanks for the comments. I was searching for that sci-fi feel to the picture with the monotone coloring and dull lighting. Yes I will continue to try harder.

Did any of you see the orignal version of "The War of the Worlds"? I can't help feeling like maybe I need to duck behind something :) Big brother is watching. But then there is that "family" of odd critters effect to it too. Either way, I do like it! Jim H.

Obviously the two on the RHS are 'backward' LOL Good shot ~ Bob

I think the ones on the left are the parents. Awwww, the big kid is almost as tall as mama now! Geez, they grow so quickly. Where DOES the time go? They're such an eager-beaver looking bunch - so inquisitive! ~ Lonnit

What a great image you created here! The placement of the vid cams is perfect!!
I love the way the right hand side units group together and the left side units are a pair all on their own. Markjay

I would have liked this if you'd have used some creative lighting. Oh, I just read the comments and saw that you just used the fluorescent that was present. Yes, it is that obvious. ;) That's too bad, this really could have been cool. Don't get lazy! It's a good concept and you did well to give them life by good positioning. Unfortunately, the lack of good lighting is the death of them, making it an amateurish shot. You've got the talent to do so much better. At the very least, you could have color-corrected it. ;) Get them out of the closet, or get some proper lighting in there, and show us what you're really worth. You're so much better than this and I'm not going to let you get away with substandard work when you're capable of so much more, and you're onto something really good. We all need a kick in the pants now and then. :)~ Lonnit

Thanks for the comments everybody. I work for a videoconferencing company, and these are flexcams we used to use with old PicTel units. These are the cameras our operators would use. I was milling around our storage closet and these were just sitting there on a shelf. I re-arranged them to give them "life", but the picture was taken in the same closet with overhead fluorescent lighting.

cool shot, I like it!
are those webcams? and if so, do you really use 5 of them? :)

Neat, what are they?

Definitely eerie, the way they seem to have life and intelligence. Good shot.

This is too funny Blade! It appears that the one standing up straight is the leader and all the rest are looking at him for direction! Great idea and well executed. CJ

What ARE those things anyway? I do love the way you have positioned them...almost like-like. Best Wishes, Traveller

This one is too cool. Love it; looks something out of a sci-fi movie.

Cheers, Vikas.
