thanks again Markjay, and thanks Lonnit. "Sky Wheel" is the actual name of this ride - I couldn't think of a clever title, but in retrospect I guess it does suit the contrasty sky here :)

I'd really like a sky in there - especially if you're using "sky" in the title. ;) Nice composition and crop. ~ Lonnit

Looks great with the crop change! Of couse it looked great BEFORE the crop change but I think this now solidifies your "five" better. Again, great image. Markjay

hi Markjay - thanks for your constructive comments. I originally thought I needed to have the full 5th-from-bottom cabin in view, but I took your suggestion and cropped it closer to eliminate the stray 6th one at top. you're right, I think it still works.
Unfortunately pbase seems to be still acting up, so when I try to update this to the new file, the old one refuses to go away. I'll try to upload the edited version again later.
thanks again for your feedback! - b.c.

Nicely seen and a great cast of colors. It would not hurt your image any to crop off the top edge so as to eliminate the bottom of the 6th carousel car and, this would solidify your "five" objects. I don't think cropping off that small area would affect your repeating elements feel of the image, which is what's making this pleasing to look at, along with the colors and the nice neutural background sky. thanks, jnconradie. btw, yes it's the sky - looks white here, it was quite overcast though I would have liked a deep blue sky here instead :)

Excellent. The colours against the white (sky?) as well as the composition combine to make it a really interesting shot. Compliments. ~jnconradie
