Thanks for the kind comments folks. As it happens I saw the Red Arrows twice in 2004 and this was the second occasion so I had the advantage of being able to anticipate some of the moves. Odd thing is I haven't been to an air display since which is a shame since I now have a faster camera than the good old 300D.
