Thank you. I didn't even see the rain on the glasses when I took the shot (I'm *very* new at this), and it was a real thrill when I discovered it.
The image creeps me out, actually, but the world is what the world is, I guess.
Thanks again.

The pivotal part of this image, for me, is the rain-splattered lenses on his/her glasses. Can he see where he is going, will he know his enemy? - Najinsky

I don't have a problem with the title. I don't think the image is a character study though - confirmed by your own words. ;) It would be if he were a lone gunman in civies. ~ Lonnit

No terror? Good point. I assumed too much, and should have been more clear. All U.S. Navy ships have had machine-guns deployed while entering and leaving port since the bombing of USS Cole in Oct., 2000. They're loaded, too.
Thanks for the comment, and the kind words.

A classy and timeless piece - well composed. I see no terror there though? I think it might have a wider appeal with a title like "Worth Defending", "Defending Liberty" or something in that lane. (I don't really like titles on photos at all - I find them restricting more often than not.)

This is a sickening feelng. Ugh, what's happened to our world? ~ Lonnit
