Definite improvement. :) ~ Lonnit

Well, I know Lonnit was suggesting an even tighter crop which also appealed to me, but I think you've arrived at a very fine place. By cropping to the hat button, you've kept the broad sweeping arcs created by the hat in the composition while moving the focus lower in the frame. All that is to say that I'd be d@mmed pleased if it were my image. -Michael

Thanks Lonnit, Michael and Cheryl.

Lonnit, Michael - I have posted a crop (a slightly larger crop) of the picture. Thank you for the feedback.

Just above the large NY logo, but below the small logo towards the right side of the image. Yes, the point was precisely to draw the attention to the face, instead of the hat. :) ~ Lonnit

NICE shot does it for me!

Lonnit, are you suggesting a crop to the top of the hat or to the top of the NY logo? I wouldn't have thought to crop part of the hat, but I have to admit that cropping down to just above the NY creates quite a compelling image with a focus shift downwards towards the face. -Michael

Ahh, now it's here! I think I'd like a little off the top - cropping just above the logo will bring the child more into the image, as opposed to now, where it's just a story about a hat without matter to whom the wearer is or the emotions he's experiencing. ~ Lonnit

What's going on here? This image is coming up as a broken link too. ~ Lonnit

Yankees lost on Sunday, eh? At least that's the story I get from this striking piece. I really like the simple composition and bold Yankees colors against that lovely pastel background. -Michael
