Excellent light...and mood. I don't find there is too much in the pic... it's ok as it is.

I'm a little surprised at the comments that's there's too much in this image when I think it's so very clean and actually rather sparse...there's nothing here that is outside of the character of this individual. I think it's a wonderfully expressive piece. -Michael

As a picture, I like this best of your three, Cyril, due to the atmosphere given to the image by the fire; and, in addition, it brings wonderful memories of my own extensive trip to the desert in the south of Algeria (in the—roughly—same area, travelling out of Djanet), more than two decades ago. OTOH, the other two photos of yours seem to be more on-topic as «Character Studies», don’t they? — db.
