So wonderfully clean and refined! Strong lines but still serene.

I really like the lines and composition in this. --Melanie (mlynn)

For me, the most appealing of your three. Nice lines and planes leading the eye along with some nice shades of grey. -Michael

I like this too Jason. I was thinking it might look even a little more abstract by cropping out the left side where the railing meets the wall - up to the wall/ceiling line and a little crop on the right to eliminate the very white area - maybe a square crop really. That gives an almost Mondrian look to the other walls. Just a thought! :-) CJ

Cute response Jason. LOL! As for the call for more DOF and contrast, I'm not sure about that. It might impede the eyeflow to have the corner (actually where the wall meets the ceiling, on the left) and the railing shadow more prominent. They might then become stop lines. I'd go with maybe a little sharpening to help it, and I do mean LITTLE, but I would touch the DOF or contrast. ~ Lonnit

You could have walked up an down those stairs a thousand times, and never realized how it might look from this point of view. That's the beauty of this "abstract stuff." But I agree that it could be improved by having more of the image in focus. The one wall that is painted a different color than the others helps make this shot more interesting. Well done.

Hi Jason,

I like the feel of this one quite a bit. I think since you have lots of running lines you should use more DOF so that everything is sharpher then crop a bit. Add some contrast (or not) and that'd be climax for me.

Matt.

Woohoo, that was sweet. I almost got some eyeflow there too. :) Seriously, thanks. I'm just glad it's not photograwful.

Ok, we're getting more artsy here. Like the BW. Like that it's turned sideways. It's got some good eyeflow. This one is more photographeraful. :) ~ Lonnit
