Thanks, Cheryl and CJ. Haha, yah CJ, no Hacky shots in my backyard. Nico - I was going for more bokeh and did'nt really notice I was on ISO200. ISO100 would have produced the same with a slower shutter speed, granted. Mere oversite ... ya caught me! However, I don't notice significant noise at any ISO setting in daylight; only long exposures in dark settings (even the 'Peace Pipe' doesn't show much noise). Thanks for the comments. -mikey
Indeed. Beautiful colours, Michael. [Your camera settings perplexed me: 1/4000s at ISO 200 ? Did you want to use such a fast shutter to freeze any motion in the flower? I would have thought something like 1/2000s at ISO 100 would have been equally sharp, but with less noise? Just a "nosy" question, not a criticism! ] Regards ~jnconradie
