June Bug

This has lines, but I'm not sure they're "leading lines". Still, I liked this bug - and the bunch of others of his clan that invaded my office area in the wee hours of Friday morning. They're big, slow-moving, and thus just great photo subjects.

This critter is about an inch and a half long (4 cm). The screen he's on is a very coarse and tough stainless steel screen used for industrial purposes and not a typical window screen. But I liked the scale of it all.

My daughter said, "Whoww!" 3x while nodding her head and grinning ear to ear. Not your typical 10 y/o girly reaction to bugs, huh? LOL! Excellent capture. ~ Lonnit

I was just about to grab a fly swatter when I opened this!
Cool shot Jim!

Fabulous macro, Jim. The diagonals of the screen lines are certainly drawing my eyes to the June bug...do we need to be more leading than that? -Michael
