I felt the same way as you, but I do not have photoshop, and have not learned Gimp yet. So at the moment all I can manage is a resize, contrast etc. I miss photoshop.

The foreground and the figure are very strong and dramatic. Personally, I'd like to see a bit more drama at the background. Perhaps something as simple as a bit of soft burning of the upper corners for more contrast and to bring focus to the figure? -Michael
