Across the Bridge *

San Francisco

It was unbelievably clear in San Francisco as we motored under the Golden Gate Bridge on a Bay Cruise. I shot this with my 30D and a 17-55 f/2.8 IS lens. The picture was underexposed ( I couldn't see anything in the LCD while shooting because it was so bright out) so I did some post processing to lighten it.

I love to be anywhere around the bridge, from land's end to the Marin headlands. It's probably been more than a decade since I actually took a Bay Cruise instead of just waving bye-bye to visitors. You've compelled to think that next time I actually need to get on the boat :-) -Michael
