I think the blank sky adds to the utter dryness of the setting, which makes the presence of the boat all the more remarkable. Barry

Yes, very nice. I really like the centered composition because the angles of various elements take me off center and create tension. I do like the soft grey sky in juxtaposition with all the textures. I agree with Lonnit that it would also be fun to play at this location on a fluffly day. It would be a very different image with clouds, but rather dramatic I imagine. -Michael
