Yep, thanks for your comments which I think I understand? The Lizard was taken with a 100mm macro lens whereas the moon, well all up 896mm on a flimsy tripod and a misty evening. No way of getting a sharper moon without more freakish conditions. I actually tried for a kitty cat but settled on the Blue Tongue Lizard cos there were not too many in this challenge LOL. (had to hide its blue tongue though!) ~ Bob

I love the concept, but, it does bother me that the lizzzzzzard is so (fantasticly!) sharp, but the moon isn't, except where it is, in the back, where it's further back than the (fantasticly!) sharp lizzard, but then the rest of the moon is OOF where it's in between the (fantasticly!) sharp lizzard and the rear edges of the right and bottom sides of the moon, even though it's in between the distance of two sharp areas, one sharp and the other fantasticly sharp, yet still it is neither sharp nor fantasticly sharp, as it should be, based on the sharp and fantasticly sharp items that are closer and furtherer than the overall frontal and not-quite-so-frontal surfaces of the unfantasticly or unregularlysharp areas of the moon. If you know what I mean. But I like the concept, and I must mention, while I am here mentioning, that the lizzzzzzzzard is truly fantastic, particularly in its sharpness. Excellent lizzzzzzardization on your part. :) ~ Lonnit

I always heard that these "L" lenses produce superbly sharp pictures, but such high resolution would exceed even my expectations. :-) Nice editing, Melbob. It provided many smiles in our household. Regards ~jnconradie
