Dear Lee: The helicopter with flood light beam looking for someone along with police on the ground has become a standard urban occurence...the thump-thump of the blades beating the air...the flashing of police vehicle lights...they belong together but seldom is the helicopter at such low levels...hence the need for a composite, but the essential truth remains, but better shown. I liked it so much, I'm putting it up front.

This is a composite of two shots from last night...the helicopter and the police on the street. I do not think that I blended these very well...in fact, I couldn't even find the blend function...lol.What I did do is cut each image and placed them on a trasparent layer and just black pointed the background from levels. I have tried featerhing and other things to make this blend better...but I'm not sure I got there. (Let me phrase that better, I know I didn't get there...maybe I'll give it another shot later...sigh) ***Okay, finally, this is v1.4...I went back to the beginning and started over a couple of times...you just have to be patient.
