Best pelican shot I have seen. I live in hope of getting one as good as this someday. One can never have too many photos of pelicans (and cats, wind turbines and power stations).

Superb capture, the action is fluid, yet frozen enough to give a sense of the power of its wings. The strongly dark background adds tremendously to the picture.
