Phil, I'm almost speechless (almost, but not quite, you didn't get that lucky). This is an extremely difficult subject and you could have made countless choices about how to handle it. You've chosen a somewhat clinical approach to the capture which gives me the chills, but then a high-key artistic approach in the "darkroom" which captures my attention and eases the reality slightly. You end up with extraordinary visual imagry, very moving, and well...ok, now I'm speechless. -Michael
This is a wonderful image Phil...maybe even a companion piece to your "Hostage," over in Exhibition. This is something I'd like to do...but I think it would scare me too much.
