Thanks for the comment, Jim. I was kind of in a quandry about that background and almost posted a shot of her with a lumpy brown bokeh, but finally went for this one. The contrast won out. She's quite predictable, moisture gets her to come out, so I sprayed a fog of water over her nest and out she comes. I placed a piece of green paper under her web to get the color. -mikey
I love the green background on this. We've got plenty of these gals around here. This is one of the few spiders I am very careful of. Nice composition and contrasts of color. Jim H.
