This is very well done. The lighting is awesome and the pose is just right for the title. Jim H.

Very good indeed! I think I would like it a little more loosely cropped, though...

Great work Vikas, for me, this is one of the few occasions where the frame really works, it does its job without drawing attention to itself and without intruding into the image. Love the lighting which provides a really nice and subtle transition from highlights to lows without any hint of harshness. I think we are seeing the 5D at its best here, good skin tones and texture and detail right into the shadows. Congratulations, very professional, excellent portrait. ~ Bob

Dear Nico, thanks a lot for your kind words... wish I knew enough to write a book would have given you one for sure if I had :-) Thanks you really made my day with your comments.

Thank You Michael/Ann, appreciate it.

Thanks Lonnit for your detailed comments. Regarding the posing, yes indeed it is feminine; I intentionally went for this particular look here as I wanted that bit to come through keeping in mind the model's body/face characteristics; I think it just went well with that by conveying innocence/vulnerability/gentleness all at the same time. Thanks again.

Cheers, Vikas.

Absolutely outstanding on your part. However, as far as the model goes, I find this pose way too feminine. I believe it's the pointed feet that are most to blame for that. Could also be a bit in the hand, which looks too gentle - yes, I know it's a portrayal of vulneralbity, but one can be vulnerable yet still masculine. Absolutely beautiful though. ~ Lonnit

Vikas, I am sure this will attact a many complimentary comments, so let me just kick off with the remark that you are playing in a vastly superior league compared to yours truly when it comes to portrait photography. Do you have a "How to ..." book I can purchase? Superb lighting, composition, range of colours, emotion-capture. ~jnconradie
